About HEDP 60%
HEDP (1-Hydroxyethylidene-1,1-Diphosphonic Acid) is a threshold scale inhibitor and metal-ion sequestrant. ZEELCHEM™ 101 is supplied as a 60% minimum aqueous solution.
In RO antiscalant formulations HEDP is an ingredient, not a complete antiscalant on its own: performance depends on water chemistry, membrane type, dosage and the full formulation.
HEDP 60% vs HEDP 90%: the 60% grade is a ready-to-use liquid for water treatment and formulation; HEDP 90% is a solid that must be dissolved and is used in specialty applications.
