DTPMP (diethylenetriamine penta(methylene phosphonic acid), CAS 15827-60-8) is a phosphonate scale inhibitor with high calcium tolerance that controls CaCO₃, CaSO₄, BaSO₄ and SrSO₄ scale. ZEELCHEM™ 131 is a 50% solution in 65 kg carboys at ₹195/kg.

About DTPMP
DTPMP works in three ways: threshold inhibition (sub-stoichiometric doses adsorb onto crystal nuclei), lattice distortion (soft, non-adherent deposits flushed out with blowdown) and multi-metal chelation of Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺, Cu²⁺ and Zn²⁺.
It is the phosphonate of choice for high-hardness cooling water, RO antiscalants and oilfield squeeze treatments where barium and strontium sulphate scale is a risk.
