What is MA/AA Copolymer?
MA/AA copolymer is a low molecular weight copolymer of maleic anhydride and acrylic acid used to disperse carbonate deposits and inhibit calcium phosphate scale in cooling water and low-pressure boilers. ZEELCHEM™ 3000 is stable up to about 300 °C and sold in 60 kg carboys.

About MA/AA Copolymer
ZEELCHEM™ 3000 is a low molecular weight copolymer of maleic anhydride and acrylic acid. It acts as a dispersant for carbonate deposits and inhibits phosphate-related scale.
It is thermally stable (operating ceiling ~300 °C) and compatible with a wide range of other water treatment chemicals, so it can be used alone or together with organic phosphonates.
It is also used as a chelating dispersant in textile dyeing and as a detergent auxiliary.
