What is Silicone Defoamer?
A silicone defoamer is a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) emulsion that breaks existing foam and prevents new foam at 10–1000 ppm. ZEELCHEM DF is used in ETP aeration tanks, paints, textiles and paper mills and costs ₹60/kg in 50 kg carboys.

About Silicone Defoamer
ZEELCHEM DF is a silicone-based antifoam emulsion built mainly on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). Its very low surface tension (~20 mN/m vs 72 for water) lets it spread over bubble walls and collapse foam quickly.
It is chemically inert, stable across wide temperature and pH ranges, and compatible with most aqueous systems.
